Los personajes de Disney, frente a los efectos de la emergencia climática
Un ilustrador lo imagina por nosotros
¿Qué pasaría si la Sirenita viviese en un mar contaminado por los plásticos? ¿Y si Bambi tuviese que enfrentarse a la deforestación? El ilustrador francés Baptiste Drausin, también conocido como The Baptman, ha imaginado cómo cambiarían las historias de los personajes y superhéroes de nuestra infancia si estuvieran expuestos a los efectos de la crisis climática. Así podemos ver a Mary Poppins ahogada por una nube de contaminación o a los pingüinos de Madagascar sufriendo las consecuencias del calentamiento de los polos. Aunque Drausin se ha centrado en los personajes de Disney, en su serie también hay cabida para otros como Aquaman o Papá Noel.
El proyecto se titula When pop culture meets ecology (Cuando la cultura pop se encuentra con la ecología) y surgió hace un par de años a raíz del reto Inktober, que cada año propone a los ilustradores dedicar el mes de octubre a dibujar sobre una cuestión concreta. En esa ocasión eligieron la crisis medioambiental y el hashtag #drawforearth. Drausin siguió después trabajando sobre el tema y compartiendo sus ilustraciones en redes.
